she said she wanted to enjoy her friends and family. she wanted simple things, like lemonade and pasta salad. mostly she wanted to focus on the day and barrett, not the details that sometime overwhelm a wedding day. so they decided to get married in a field on the family farm. hidden away they said i do, surrounded only by their immediate families, all standing in support of this new commitment. words were brief with a sweet serenade and hugs all around.
although courtney wanted to keep the the reception in her back yard a fun, low key event it was beautiful. small details made her guests feel welcome, and surprised with the unexpected. from the candy bar, to the band it felt the way i always expect from kentucky, i suppose it's that southern charm that you either have or you don't.

this is gonna sound strange ..but so many of these pictures of Courtney just take me back to when she was a little girl...that sweet little smile she always had...and continues to have.... I'm so happy the day was perfect... beautiful pictures as always Mere...I'll e-mail my wall choices!
