stone cold gorgeous

i tease brandon quite a bit for what i call his nonsexual crushes. it happens when there is someone that you think is amazing and don't shut up about how cool they are. i officially have a nonsexual crush. i admit it. but you would too, i promise.

i got to meet brandice while i was in kentucky. she's a friend of my cousin courtney, of course. not only is she probably the most gorgeous person i've ever laid eyes on, she's incredibly kind, humble, fun, brilliant, has selective style, and is way laid back too. that eastern kentucky drawl juxtaposed against the word homey or g just makes me giggle. i love it.

i took some photos of ava, her daughter, in front of hopscotch before i went to another part of kentucky to visit more family. brandice made the trip an hour and a half out of her way to bring her son drew so i could photograph him as well. he's got good genes but beyond his good looks he was so gentle with his little sister, sweet to his mother, and funny. ava is close to deacon's age so i have a special place in my heart for her too. i love her pageboy haircut with that big old bow! brandice and scott are in serious trouble as these kids grow up to people crushing on them too!
