as promised

i didn't forget. i couldn't. i've been laughing about these since last friday, all the way home from st.louis and every time i think about it.

my favorite, and only, niece campbell turned 7 last friday. so after our classroom visit in columbia deacon and i continued our first grade tour to campbell's class. we suprised her with bomb pops and our visit.

after that i took her shopping for a new outfit for her "red carpet birthday." 13 wild girls, pizza, cookie cake, hair, makeup and mani pedis wouldn't be complete without a photo shoot at the end. the funny thing is, i didn't pose these girls! we danced to really loud music, and the cheered each other on, it was a blast.

i did decide that although i adore little girls, they are a lot like wolves when in a pack- humbling the most self confident adult with snotty commits about her shoes, ouch.
