now here they are raising their kids in the town they didn't think they would return to, standing within a building that brings back bittersweet memories. but the building, unlike the memories is starting to crumble and will soon be destroyed.
when angie asked me to come photograph her family at the old chillicothe high school i couldn't help but say yes. i love a good story and it's hard for me to look at a building without wondering how many thousands of connections happened over the years. it's a beautiful building and it's a little sad to see something that meant so much to people, like my father in law, disappear.
after our shoot deacon and i joined angie, bill, cole, and macy for dinner. this photo just makes me happy. how great would it be to have a great-uncle firefighter fly you around a restaurant in your highchair? doesn't get much better than that.
