...among the first grade circuit. okay, not me, deacon. but i don't mind being his roadie, it's still a lot fun to be part of the the excitement.
let me give you some background. my sister in law, tara, is a first grade teacher. and like all good first grade teachers she shares funny stories with her "first grade friends" to keep them amused and interested throughout the week. a lot of her stories just happen to include none other than my little two year old. i don't share a ton of deacon stories, but let me tell you he does some pretty hilarious things. so when we showed up on friday as the "mystery readers" it was almost rock star status.
i got to read deacon's favorite book "Lyle Lyle Crocodile" and then shoot some photos of tara reading with deacon and the kiddos doing some rather impressive writing. i was blown away with tara's gentle command over her class, incredible. so here are a couple of shots from our first, first grade visit from the day. our second first grade visit was just as fun, more to come!
